Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This page explains what happens to information when you use Formula Live. We keep it simple because we collect very little.
What we collect
- No accounts and no forms. You don't sign up, log in or send us anything to read the site.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. We don't use cookies to follow you around, and we don't sell or share data about you.
- Times are shown in your own time zone. Your browser works that out on your device and it isn't sent to us.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are popular. Cloudflare says it doesn't use cookies or track people across sites, and it only counts page views and basic technical details such as the country, browser and device type.
Who else sees your visit
- Cloudflare hosts and protects this site. Like any web host, it processes technical details of each request, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and block attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Live timing. When you open the Live page, your browser connects directly to our data provider's live feed so the board can update. They can see your IP address, as with any connection.
- News. Headlines link to other websites, and their pictures are loaded from those publishers. When you view a story card or click through, that publisher's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Our admin team
A small team signs in to manage articles and pages. Their sign-in uses a cookie that is only needed to keep them logged in. Visitors never get one.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. We hold almost none, but if you have a concern you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how the site works in a way that affects this page, we'll update it and change the date at the top.
